The teacher spoke of foreign ideas and contorted their bodies into weird and wonderful positions. Little would Annie know that this was the beginning of a strong and fruitful love affair with the craft of yoga.

Deeply passionate about health and well-being, Serena embodies a holistic approach to facilitating students on an inward journey towards self–awareness. Her fascination with neuroplasticity alongside both her study of naturopathy and ancient yogic wisdom, weave into her empowering, meaningful classes that poetically support self-exploration of mind, body and spirit.
After fifteen years on the mat, Serena attributes her open heart and vibrant approach to life to a strongly rooted practice. She hopes to encourage an experience of stilling the mind, invigorating the body and keeping your heart wild, both on and off the mat.

Her experience then was mostly of Bhakti & Karma Yoga and her asana practice began just over 12yrs ago as part of a holistic regimen & management for health issues. A consistent meditation practice was soon included & the health benefits were immense and life changing.
Premy has a Masters Degree in Special Education and works as a Teacher Consultant for students with disabilities at TAFE NSW. She has also completed a 150hr IYTA Yoga Nidra course for Mental Health Providers in addition to the 270hr yoga teaching training in Vinyasa, Yin and Pranayama Yoga practices.
She engages her students to find inspiration and understanding of the quieter more reflective yoga practices to harmonise the body mind and embody this connection in their daily lives. Her own inspiration is through nature and the healing nature of pranic energy. The interconnectedness of ourselves and the natural world is oftentimes lost in our western lifestyles. In Eastern practices, this connection has been beneficial for millennia.

I sought for “the yoga” I knew could help me. It took me a while but I found it. Then people started asking me to teach them and this awakened my desire to teach yoga and so I went on to become one, quitting a career as a virologist. Yoga is an endless path of continuous study and practice. I have been a teacher in many disciplines, I love sharing whatever knowledge and experience I have gathered.
My own sadhana or practice is the foundation of my life. Life is not going to be perfect because you are a yogi, but it does help you navigate the challenges of life with presence, awareness and equanimity without getting entangled in the creations of your own mind. As teachers, our own practice is the most important bit!
I teach traditional Hatha Yoga, unmodified and powerful. However, my own practice also includes a combination of various yoga traditions in search of liberation.
I strive to honour the practice of yoga and guide you to experience That which is beyond our limited understanding of this universe and to feel that there is much more to this life than what you can perceive now.

As the great Patanjali once said, “Yoga is the practice of quieting the mind”. This has been the guiding light through out the years as she has spent more time studying the art of Yoga and meditation. “I truly believe Yoga is a lifestyle. It is the source of learning the connection between your mind, body and your Prana. Not only has it given me the gift of spiritual, physical and mental well-being, it has also led me to become stronger, more mindful and observant.”
Prarthana embraces her roots wholeheartedly and is a traditional Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga teacher, bringing a holistic approach to her classes. Along with this, she also hopes to pass on the ancient wisdom and power of age old mantra meditation and Raja Yoga, thus also hoping to bring to those who practice with her, the magical tranquility and inner peace that Yoga has given her.

Her practice has changed and evolved over time with the different needs of her body and mind. She has journeyed through vigorous vinyasa-style practice, hot yoga and hatha. Kerry’s classes embody all that she has learned through her formal training and personal experience of yoga and meditation. She is a teacher in spirit who loves to see her students leave class feeling physically and mentally comfortable, relaxed, and peaceful.

Sofija initially began face-to-face sessions and group classes, and it has evolved to what it is today: a thriving practice driven by international demand from her previous clients who have relocated enhanced by word of mouth through their communities. Niso offers an extensive selection of healing modalities delivered globally in-person and online. Niso also facilitates corporate and educational retreats as well as workshops and weekly classes.
Sofija’s unique wellness model draws upon the discipline of Hatha Yoga, Pilates Method, Human Design System, traditional philosophical teachings (Hermeticism), contemporary spirituality (Eckhart Tolle), combined with the latest science on quantum healing.
Her life philosophy: The quality of my experience depends on my response rather than what happens out there. Taking “response-ability” for decoding and enhancing my experience is the path of my authentic self to my true – divine – power. Our wellness community is Sofija’s priority, so to help you turn your brain off, calm your mind and rejuvenate your body, she continues to collaborate with Inspired Wild + Free teaching studio classes as well as offering bespoke workshops and short courses to support your well-being.
